Paul and Eleanor (Botos) Fraga
Uncle Paul, along with his brother, Joe (and later, Martin) made a real difference and impact in the lives of many family members in a variety of ways. From helping quite a number of sons and nephews enter the electrical and other trades to mentoring many of them and supporting family members in other ways through the years – their influence and legacy lives on in countless ways. Aunt Eleanor (like many of her sisters-in-law who married into the Fraga family) brought a directness that enriched the Fraga family culture significantly.

I just want to repeat my story about Paul being there for me when I graduated from Wayne State University and needed some money to help me and my family on our move to Dayton Ohio to start my job in R & D at WPAFB. He just asked me how much I needed and provided me with it.

That’s a story worth telling and repeating Uncle Danny.
Am I correct in thinking that my Uncle Paul and other Fraga sons helped Grandpa move from the Farm and buy the Duplex on Wilfred behind my Parents home on Flanders?

You’re right Carmen, I don’t remember the details since I hadn’t been living in Michigan for some time, but I do know that there was a huge snowstorm and nobody could get to the farm and the telephones were out so they had no contact with them for a while. So the family decided to buy that home you mentioned and move them there. I was not directly involved so I don’t know who all were part of the move, but I know that Paul and Joe were key players. By the way, the farm had already been sold to a neighbor but dad and mother were allowed to live in the home as long as they wanted.
