This special event features a legacy documentary of families in Imlay City produced, directed and edited by Ms. Lisbet Barragan for her internship for the Four County Community Foundation.

Lisbet herself is a Mexican American whose family is from Jalisco, Mexico.  Her family is one of so many families who are currently part of the fabric of the Imlay City community like so many others for decades – including our own Fraga family.

Lisbet has captured a wealth of stories and information via interviews which are now preserved as part of the history, contributions and legacy of the Mexican and Mexican American families from this area.

Lisbet and her family are residents of Imlay City.  She is starting her sophomore year at Michigan State University in the fall.  She is majoring in Packaging with a minor in Chicano/Latino Studies.
