After years of working/living on other peoples’ farms (like sharecroppers) the 80 acre farm at 8804 Norman Road in Imlay City was Valeriano and Martina’s first farm of their own. It was purchased when he was 60 years old. While the house needed a LOT of work, it was the land that convinced him to buy it.
